Going, going!
This is early morning of the following day. The US National Guard out of Tampa, Florida, has a yearly trip to service the fort.


I want a picture of the bottom of the light house. What about that large cannon laying in the dirt?.


This photo is taken from the top of the fort. This is the light house on top of the fort and the large cannon in the dirt.

An early morning look a the large moat surrounding the fort. This was dug by hand using prisoners. It was hard work. Further along the top wall with the sun behind us. This is the north wall. The round roof structure on the top level on the left was used for storing munitions.
